Tournament of four generation decathlete in MSU manuge	\| contents \|

    The fourth Tournament of all-generation decathlete was off in the field-and-track manuge in Moscow State University on 20th of january 2001.
    The competitions were held by the veterans council of All-Russia Athletic Federation (ARAF) and MSU chair of physical training during one day in the following order : 60 meters hurdle race, long jump, shot-put, high jump and 1000 meters jogging.
    All the wishful multiathlonists, decathletes-youthes and veterans at the age of 30 and older took part in these competitions.
    Scoring of points was made with multiplication of sportsman's result in any sports event to his personal age-specific rate, recommended by WAVA.
    Ten sets of rewards (cup, medal, prize, and diploma) were put through: for the first, second and third place by the sum of pentathlon; for the victory in some events; to the most experienced participant and the youngest one.
    Mr.Marshev V.I. the chairman of the veterans council of ARAF, Doctor of Economics, Professor and Mr.Gapeev V.I., the secretary general of the veterans council of ARAF led off the Tournament.
    The Olympic champions Irina Privalova and Valeriy Brumel visited the competitions.
    The Bronze prizewinner of European championship and Russian multiple champion, decathlete Lev Lobodin visited the competitions and decorated the winners.
    The results of these competitions are shown in chapter "Results".
    16 of 21 participants in Tournament completed the competitions.
